Eid al-Fitr Fest..

Ternyata gw emang suka banget sama lagu ini.. Liriknya asik, musiknya asik, eh videoklipnya juga keren banget lagi! Cewe yang maen gw kenal dari The O.C. (walopun dia maen cuma bentar di The O.C. tapi berkesan banget deh..)

:D Oya, ini soal selera, dan selera orang kan bisa beda2.. Jadi walopun udah gak sedih lagi, gw tetep pasang vidklip yang gw dapet dari youtube ini.. *tuing, tuing, gak nyambung mode ON..* :p

Anyway, into the topic.. As I previously mentioned [in the sideblog if you noticed], it was very unpredicted to have “eid al-fitr fest” in this country, thousand miles away from home.. It simply begins with the day when we (me and another moslem friends here) were still confused to decide when would the “eid al-fitr fest” be. Unlike in Indonesia where every head has their own opinion and “debate” whether to have the fest at monday or tuesday, the authority here has an easier job since there’s not much to “debate” over to, or I’d say none to be precise. Only a slight rumors that said the fest is at sunday instead of monday, maybe because they think they should follow Mecca which celebrate the fest in sunday. But then, the authority here finally decide the fest would be on monday and the Eid-el-Fitr-Communal-Prayer(tm) would be held at 08:20.

And for us, it’s time to shake the dice and choose, is it sunday, monday, or tuesday? Why should we choose since the authority has decided the fest to be on monday? *good question* Here’s an answer, we came to this country several days after the Ramadhan starts, while it starts here at a different day with Indonesia. Not to mention timezone difference which adds another confusion to make the best decision. *waduh* Well, because of one and another reason, we *eventually* pick monday like the authority has decided. It’s the most logically, and socially accepted, in our humble opinion.

And here comes monday a.k.a. Eid el-Fitr Fest! Hooray! *with tears drop* It’s a mixed feeling indeed! And it’s hard to describe too! I started the day with another sleep after shubuh prayer (06:00) since I was very tired hiking to Wartburg in Eisenach, the day before *??!* and here, the sun rises at 07:10. So another hour to sleep wouldn’t hurt (of course!). Voila! Wake up at 07:30 and then take bath in a real rush! So refreshing! And yes,

I’ve realized that I was late! The Tram (Strassenbahn) to the Mosque near campus would require half an hour to arrive! But guess what, I’m not the only one who was late.. Hehe.. :p Yudha

called me from his cell phone told me that he were wearing his shoes while i was walked in front of the library of the Uni where I lived. He told me to wait for him, ok then, finally we met at the tram station. There were nobody in the tram station, bad sign, it means that the tram were just leave when we arrived. And yes, 10 minutes to wait for another tram. It’s 08:10 when the tram arrived and brought us to the town centre. It’s 08:20 in the town centre now, and yes, I repeat, we were late since the tram to the mosque would require another ten or 15 minutes!

But who will ever thought? The tram suspended because there were street cleaning job right in the middle of the town where we should leave at that moment from the site! *sigh* In desperate we finally decided to go to another mosque near the town centre, running, saving times left..

New mp3 player..

Ladies and gentlemen.. I proudly introduce my new Flash mp3 Player to broaden my audience.. Hehe.. :p

See under the Miscellaneous section down there, you’ll see a nifty flash gadget playing a playlist of my two favorite songs. Well, I’ve plenty of favorite songs right now, but I’m just too lazy to upload them.. Hehe.. :p Anyway, I got this li’l nifty gadget after googling for a flash based mp3 player since not everybody have a Quicktime or Windows Media Player or Real Media installed correctly to manage mp3 streams. Why Flash-based-tools? Here’s one answer.. Thanks to this gal (or guy?) who eventually wrote other cool flash-based-gadgets. Just check her site for more infos.

Oya, I also replace that dumb sideblog with my very own *dumber* sideblog which actually is an iframe loading my other blog.. :p You can get the explanation in Blogger Help about posting multiple blog at the same page. It’s very easy yet so dumb but working.. :p

Aa baru bisa kirim email lagi sekarang, soalnya kmaren hari sabtu n minggu kan libur jadi ga ke kampus. Kmaren itu, jadual penerbangan yang dikasih, ternyata pake waktu lokal masing2 negara. Kmaren kan berangkat jam 22.25 tea, trus nyampe kuwait jam 06.15 itu teh ternyata waktu kuwait, bukan waktu indonesia. Jadi udah ada perbedaan waktu juga. Jadinya nyampe Frankfurt tuh jam 13.45 waktu Frankfurt, bedanya sama indonesia sekarang 5 jam, jadi aa nyampe Frankfurt tuh di Indonesia udah tanggal 28 jam 18.45.

Waktu di pesawat, kita sempet beberapa kali makan da perjalanannya kan panjang, trus aa sahur pake waktu di darat saat itu, jadinya kita tuh baru buka shaum setelah sampe erfurt, shaumnya jadi panjang banget.. Di sini shubuh jam 05.25 trus maghrib jam 18.57, makin deket ke musim dingin siangnya jadi semakin pendek ntar.. Trus setelah bulan oktober, beda waktunya sama Indonesia jadi 6 jam, sekarang mah masih 5 jam bedanya.

Di Erfurt, kan ada Universitas, ada FH (institut teknik), nah aa mah sama sendy n yudha (senior yang kerja di sana tea) ditempatinnya di asrama Uni, kalo mamat mah di FH sendirian. Asrama ini teh harus bayar, tapi masih belum pasti cenah apakah dibayarin juga ato harus bayar sendiri, masih mau diurus hari rabu besok. Klo bayar, setiap bulannya EU99, sekitar 1,2 juta-an..Jaminan juga harus bayar EU200 tapi itu mah udah pasti bakal dibayar FH, tapi kayanya sih yang 99 itu harus bayar deh, soalnya di suratnya juga kan gak disebut, tapi ya mudah2an sih dibayarin FH juga..

Asramanya enak banget, aa skamar berdua sama bule jerman, Stefan, dia kuliah di Uni jurusan linguistik, jadinya mau ngajarin juga aa bhs jerman cnah.. Kamarnya lumayan gede, klo dibagi dua masih lebih gede dari kamar di kanayakan..hehe..di kamar juga ada pemanas ruangan, jadi klo winter gak akan terlalu dingin di kamar mah. Asramanya juga gede, ada sekitar 6 lantai klo ga salah, aa di lantai 3. Di setiap lantai tuh ada beberapa WG, setiap WG ada 4 kamar. Nah setiap WG itu berbagi 1 dapur, 1 kmr mandi, sama 1 toilet. Di sini keran bisa langsung di minum, trus selalu ada aer panas juga dari keran, jadi klo mandi aer panas ato bikin susu langsung aja dari keran..hehe.. Oya, asramanya dicampur, jadi ada WG laki2, ada juga WG perempuan, tapi gak ada yang satu WG dicampur kok..

Di sini emang masak sendiri di dapur itu. Hari pertama nyampe sini (28), sore2nya langsung diajak yudha belanja ke supermarket. Kmaren blanja macem2, termasuk kornet, tuna, bumbu2 dll. Aa juga beli nasi instan, masaknya tinggal direbus aja sama kantongnya, setelah mateng tinggal dituang aja, klo beli beras biasa gak bisa soalnya di dapur gak ada rice-cooker. Di sini harga2 makanan mahal2, sebagian aja yang rada murah mah.

Studinya mulai sekitar pertengahan oktober, tanggal pastinya belum tau pasti. hari ini (senin) aa udah urus2 perpanjangan visa tea, ntar jadinya tanggal 19 oktober. Trus lngsung ke bank tea, tapi bank hari ini penuh banget, jadinya bikin janji dulu aja, hari rabu mau ke bank lagi, kayanya udah bisa langsung jadi deh hari rabu. Di sini mah ngurus apa2 cepet, kartu mahasiswa aja sejam langsung jadi kmaren hari jumat teh. Nanti hari rabu aa kabarin lagi soal bank tea.

Oya, di sini ada mesjid deket FH tapi, aa kan di Uni, jaraknya gak terlalu jauh sih, naek trem dua kali dari Uni ke FH teh. Oya, karena dah punya kartu mahasiswa sini, naek kendaraan umum (trem/bis) jadi gratis ke mana2 dalam kota ato radius 50km kalo ke luar kota. Di mesjid itu juga ngadain taraweh sama buka bersama terus tiap hari. Kapan2 mau nyobain juga buka sm taraweh di sana da gratis hehe..Tapi sekarang2 mah masih blom berani keluar malem, soalnya isu rasis/anti-pendatang kan masih rada rame di sini.. Tapi besok2 pasti ksana klo udah lebih hafal daerahnya.. Mesjidnya tinggal nyebrang n jalan dikit dari FH, kmaren juga jumatan di situ..

Ok, aa ngabarin segitu dulu aja.. Nanti kalo ada kabar lain lagi aa email..
